Organisers have announced that Five, Blue and The Wanted 2.0 will appear at Central Park on Friday 12 June 2026.

Five will headline the Friday event, with the concert forming the opening night of the city’s summer festival weekend.

The London-based group rose to fame in the late 1990s and went on to achieve multiple Top 10 singles, and recently completed a UK comeback tour after reforming the original five in February 2025.

Their best-known tracks include Keep On Movin’, Everybody Get Up and If Ya Gettin’ Down.

In a statement released by organisers, the group said: “Headlining Friday in Plymouth feels incredible for us. Having last performed in Plymouth in 2013 we can’t wait to see you all again.”

Blue, who continue to tour and release new music, are joining the line-up as special guests.

The band scored three consecutive UK number one albums, All Rise, One Love and Guilty, and achieved 11 Top 10 singles.

Their hits include Too Close, If You Came Back and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word.

Opening the evening will be The Wanted 2.0, featuring original members Max George and Siva Kaneswaran.

The act performs material from The Wanted’s back-catalogue, including chart hits Glad You Came and All Time Low.

Liz Hobbs MBE, chief executive of Discovery Festival Ltd, said the event would bring well-known pop artists back to Plymouth. She said: “These artists will have festival-goers dancing, cheering, and singing every anthem.”

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 27 February, with prices starting from £45 plus booking fees.

One-day, two-day and three-day tickets will be available, with early bird tickets being offered to subscribers through the festival website.

Organisers have confirmed there will be a limited VIP area near the stage.

Due to space restrictions, one standard picnic chair per person will be allowed in the main concert area.

Accessible tickets will be available directly through Ticketmaster and Eventim.

Further acts for the remainder of the festival weekend are expected to be announced at a later date.
