Police officers from the South Devon Proactive Team have arrested two men in Ashburton on April 29 in connection to a supply of drugs.
The officers carried out enquiries after noticing some suspicious behaviour in the area and searched two men under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A quantity of drugs were located which led officers to search a nearby address, where they located a rucksack of suspected cannabis and heroin – with an estimated street value of over £11,000.
Drug paraphernalia including scales, packaging, multiple mobile phones and sim cards were also found and seized.
Two local men, aged 52 and 53, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin and possession of controlled drugs.
They have since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
If you have information about suspected illegal activity in your area, you can report it to the police.
You can report information by calling 101, via their website or by visiting your local enquiry office.
